# introduction

**SMARTMALL** is a platform focused on Web3 technology applications, initiated by the SmartMall Foundation and promoted in collaboration with CandyDAO. The platform aims to serve as a bridge connecting the Web2 and Web3 worlds, offering comprehensive Web3 services and supporting exploration in the metaverse. SMARTMALL employs a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) governance model, emphasizing the philosophy of "users as owners," allowing users to be not just participants but also the primary beneficiaries of the platform.
